The IMA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who best represents career and industry achievement and longevity and has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout their career, inspiring others to achieve similar success.
From his early days delivering newspapers to his current role as Chief Revenue Officer at Tillo, Bill is known for the transformational impact he’s had at every stage of his career. With over two decades in the incentives space, Bill has become a recognized thought leader, regularly sought out for his insights on sales strategy and motivation in employee engagement, incentive innovation, and digital transformation within rewards.
Bill has partnered with Fortune 500 companies across telecom, healthcare, government, and tech to design reward programs that drive loyalty and deliver measurable ROI. His work has made him a trusted mentor and coach to a generation of sales and incentive professionals. Renowned for cultivating high-performance team cultures grounded in purpose and recognition, Bill has helped forge some of the industry’s most strategic partnerships. His consistent ability to deliver impact and value has made him a key contributor across the incentive's ecosystem.
A passionate advocate for customer-centric incentive solutions, Bill launched his career in 2003 at Parago, Inc., where he quickly rose to become the top sales producer and later Vice President of Sales. Following Parago’s acquisition by Blackhawk Network in 2014, Bill transitioned into a leadership role within the North America Incentives division. There, he was instrumental in driving record-breaking growth, most notably by spearheading the launch of the award-winning
Payments for Good program. Under his leadership, the initiative unlocked a previously untapped vertical, generating over $3 billion in reward issuance.
Today, Bill leads the expansion of the U.S. commercial team at Tillo, where he has introduced the company’s innovative, API-driven gift card solutions to new markets—contributing to 120% year-over-year growth within his first five months. He also spearheaded the creation of Tillo’s advisory board, bringing together industry thought leaders to foster collaboration and innovation. Through these efforts, Bill is helping shape the future of both Tillo and the broader incentives industry by making digital gift cards more accessible, engaging, and effective.
